Allotment bits

                                               Coal Tit, occasional visitor to the allotments.

                                                     Sparrowhawk, 2-3 around most days.

Allotment Kite

                                    Red Kite, drifting slowly over mid morning heading south.

         A very wet and bedraggled Short eared Owl on the Saltmarsh at Cleethorpes this morning

                                                         A similarly wet Wheatear nearby

                                               Knot and Turnstone at roost on the high tide

                                           Reed Bunting, a good bird for the alottments.

Todays allotment bits

                                               Field Grasshopper, male, still a few around.

                                              Two or three Sparrowhawk around most days

                                       Small group of Pinkfeet through south this morning

                                                           Collared Doves everywhere

Winter is upon us

Part of the flock of 38 newly arrived Brent Geese at Suggits bay which included a single pale bellied, birds feeding on the distant low water mark hence the poor photo.
